The FM sound of the 60's and 70's

Our sponsor is "Beach Bum Bud's".  It's our "Groovey" Hippie-Sixties-Head Shop for those who are still lost in the sixties and seventies, those who lived through it, but don't remember it, those who worship that era or those that want to explore those times.  If you have an "Alternative Lifestyle" or just need a pair of sandals, you'll want to browse our merchandise page!  We pretty much cover the 70's too. Far Out Man!  From "Back Then" to todays "Alternative Lifestyles" we have what you're looking for!  We also have Biker gear and other adult stuff!  If you don't want to shop, just use this page to explore and listen to all that great music from back then.

Health Warning!  Purchase products such as Herbs and Natural Medicines at your own risk.  You should consult with a doctor before taking any herbs, foods or natural medications.  We will not be held liable.  Use these items at your own risk.

VFM Radio is authorized to broadcast under Part 15 of FCC Rules & Regulations.  We are a legal Microcast station & broadcast to our North Walnut Grove neighborhood with less than 1 watt of power, actually its less than 1/4 watt (25mw) which means our signal only goes out a few hundred feet from our  Transmitter site.  We use the same legal low power transmitter  that is used by a drive-in movie theater or a high school campus. We strive to be a good neighbor and not interfere with any licensed broadcast service.  On the air we identify ourselves as "VFM Radio" so not to be confused with any licensed broadcasting station. To hear our station better  in North Walnut Grove it helps to have an external FM antenna on your FM stereo reciever.   Questions, concerns and comments should be addressed to us at our e-mail on this page.  For more information on FCC Rules and Regulations please refer to their website at www.fcc.gov or for a simplified overview of Part 15 low power hobby broadcasting, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Part_15 and www.part15.us

The best reception area is just North of Walnut Grove park between 58th Ave and Andresen.  Of course it always helps to have an external or Di-Pole antenna hooked up to your FM stereo.  Of course you can listen any time anywhere on the internet!
